For me, community involvement is the cornerstone of any meaningful experience. Architecture is for the people, and staying active in the community, attempting to understand diverse perspectives means continuing the architect’s role in society. During the academic year 2025-2026, I was responsible to lead the NOMAS chapter at the University of Kansas, which was a transformative experience that put me in close contact with field professionals at an international level, host community events to promote student growth in the fields of architecture and design, and most importantly, connect with people passionate for the collaboration.
In addition, I was able to further develop these values and goals by getting involved in ambassador positions with AUTODESK & ArchDaily, while also continuing my involvement with other student-led organization like AIAS and NOMAS (as a 3rd and 5th year representative in other academic years)
